Challenge : Create a project using the
photo as your inspiration & making it "All a Flutter - Add a
butterfly".
The project can be a card, a scrapbook layout or off
the page project......it's totally up to you!
I Have made these two cards for the Scrapbook Boutique Challenge, I wasn't going to enter this month due to illness, but I had to make a thankyou and Birthday card so thought I might as well do it for the challenge
It is hard to know what to do for a male thankyou card, so I decided to use the print of the paper to make it a bit easier.
I have used masking tape for the birds on the wire.
The butterfly and dragonfly have be stamped onto acetate sheets using staz-on, allowed to dry then cut out.
I bent the wings to give them a 3D effect and glued the bodies onto the paper.
I hope he likes his card!!!!!!
The birthday card is for a girlfriends birthday
I did both card using only one sheet of printed paper, that includes the insides as well.
This is the side veiw of the card to give you a idea of the butterflies and dragonfly in 3D
The inside of the thankyou card
This is the birthday card in 3D and below the inside of the card
Male cards are difficult at the best of times. Yours is fantastic, what a great idea to use the DP to your advantage, love how you have added the butterflies and dragonfly!
